Development
Overview
The Development Office at GateWay is responsible for implementing and executing
private fundraising activities for the College. Private funds supplement
traditional revenue sources of tuition, property tax levies and state aid
that account for only 50% of the College budget.
As one of the 10 colleges within the Maricopa County Community College
District, private contributions to GateWay are tax deductible through the
Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation. Through on-going efforts, private
contributions benefit all areas of the College including:
- Student support services
- Innovative academic programs
- Updated training equipment and well-maintained facilities
- General college support needs
