Student Scholarships
Funds to help students get through school. Scholarships can be the
difference between students who graduate and those who do not; those who
pursue training for high-demand jobs and those who do not; and those who
advance professionally and financially and those who do not.
Enhance Teaching and Learning
Resources to start new academic programs and to enhance existing programs
and services. With more than half of GateWay's students working at
least part-time, flexible learning methods allow students to achieve
educational goals while balancing work and family life. Tools that
make innovative teaching and learning possible include software, streaming
video, and electronic library databases, to name a few.
Computers and Training Equipment for the Classroom
State-of-the-art training equipment is essential for career preparation.
GateWay prides itself on its ability to offer students real-world
applications in the classroom through expert technology and lifelike
simulation. Cutting-edge training equipment is necessary for the
hands-on guidance that gives students the knowledge and skills needed to
enter the workforce ready-to-work.
Areas of Greatest Need
Discretionary income is necessary to supplement diminishing traditional
sources of funding (including property tax revenue and state aid) in order
to maintain quality academic programs and maximum student success.
