Learning Center

Overview

The Learning Center offers free academic support resources for enrolled students including academic and study skills tutoring, writing workshops, learning aids and group study rooms.

Benefits

Learning Center services help students:

• Identify and review key course concepts
• Develop new strategies for in-class success
• Discover personal learning habits
• Learn effective test-taking strategies
• Access supplemental and online study resources

Tutoring sessions are available by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Call (602) 286-8800 to schedule an appointment or stop by the Learning Center in MA1240 to check resource availability.

Computer Labs

The Learning Center consists of three campus computer labs:

• MA1240
• CH2121
• MA2122

MA1240 offers wireless internet connectivity and laptops for student checkout. All computers are equipped with educational software, internet access and Microsoft Office applications. Students and community users will be charged for printing from college computers. Students receive a $20 credit from July 1 - June 30, which allows for about 200 free pages.
