If I give money, I can get it back later?
Yes. A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar refund of the amount you are
donating. The Arizona Kids Tax Credit Program allows every Arizona income
tax-payer to contribute to an Arizona Public School. The good news is that
GateWay Early College benefits from this tax credit!
Many people either owe state taxes or they receive a refund at the end of
the year. If you have to pay state taxes, why not give your money to a
program you know? If you will be receiving a refund in your state taxes,
this money comes back to you in the form of a state tax refund. It’s a
win-win situation for everyone.
How much can I donate?
You can give up to the maximum allowable tax credit:
- Single: $200
- Married filing jointly: $400
How do I sign up!
Complete the donation form below and make your check out to GateWay Early
College High School. Payments can dropped off in the ECHS front office by
December 31 of the current tax year, or sent to:
108 North 40th Street
Phoenix AZ 85034
You will receive a receipt by mail for your contribution.
Remember that you can donate as little as $25 or as much as $200 if
you’re single or $400 if you’re married. If you owe state taxes, it will pay
your debt. If you don’t owe, you get it dollar for dollar back
in your Arizona state tax
refund.
