Pro's Ranch Markets Partner with GateWay,
Offering Employees Retail Management Certificates
Pro's Ranch Markets has partnered with GateWay to offer their employees valuable training classes throughout the year.
Many of the employees are first generation college students, encouraged by their employer to learn more about business and growth opportunities within the company. GateWay's Retail Management Certificate program is a good fit, as it's designed to prepare individuals for the management challenges of the future in the food industry and related fields.
Participants earn a Retail Management Certificate from GateWay upon the course completion of 11 classes. The curriculum encompasses several business essentials with an emphasis on improving the skill sets needed for effective management and communication in the work environment. Classes range from Math to Marketing, with a focus on business practices.
Employees will also receive the Western Association of Food Chains certificate upon Retail Management program completion, a valued achievement of professional growth within the industry.
Pro’s Ranch Markets is scheduled to open a new store later this year at 35th Avenue and Indian School Road. Many of the Retail Management students will find themselves with new jobs, moving up in this award-winning chain of grocers appealing to the Hispanic market. An additional store is being readied at Southern and Stapley in Mesa, followed by a third at Glendale and 35th Avenue in the near future. GateWay is proud to partner with a growing company that is committed to facilitate employee growth.
Other Pro's Ranch Market employees are taking classes here at the campus to improve language skills, in order to enroll in the Retail Management program at the stores.
