Black Student Union
The Black Student Union serves to establish an unshakeable bond between
black students, black faculty and the general Maricopa community to promote
the development of educational opportunities and to increase awareness of
black culture. The group provides a central forum for the open
dialogue of political, spiritual, cultural, economic, social and academic
conditions in the black community.
Who Can Join?
All students from all walks of life are invited to join the BSU to learn
more about black culture. The BSU exists to enhance cultural and political
awareness, and to provide social events and support for students.
BSU celebrates new members because each person strengthens the
group's dedicated effort in building the community and encouraging all to
work collectively at continuing student success.
