Geckos In Action – Community Builders
Geckos In Action is a recruitment club for GateWay Community College where members
have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their leadership skills as
student ambassadors at various events and activities throughout the school
year.
The club was established to help promote GateWay Community College from a
student perspective and provide an engaging environment where education and
success are the primary focus for members and the surrounding community.
Who Can Join?
To participate in the Geckos in Action Club, you must:
- Be a current GateWay Community College student
- Attend all meetings that are holding a majority vote decision
- Uphold the GWCC code of conduct
Activities
Members participate in a variety of activities, including:
- Attending conferences
- Volunteer work
- Fundraising activities
- Recruitment events
All students must sign a travel waiver form to participate in club events.
Meeting Times
Meetings are held on Fridays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in room MA1100 North.
