Leadership Opportunities
The GateWay Center for Student Life & Leadership provides numerous student
leadership programs and opportunities throughout the year. These
opportunities include local, regional and national student leadership
conferences, workshops and seminars. We encourage our student leaders to
keep abreast of new programs, services and changes within the campus and the
community.
The following is list of student leadership opportunities is currently
available:
GateWay Leadership Retreat
The GateWay Leaderhips Retreat is held in the summer for all new executive officers and
the Student Life & Leadership staff.
Club Training Day
In the fall, a student organization and club training workshop is held
for all officers and advisors. A luncheon
training session is held for club advisors prior to the start of fall
classes.
Sky-Y Leadership Camp
Each year a retreat is designed to strengthen the leadership, life and
wellness skills of students. We encourage any current or future student

MCCD Student Leadership Workshops
A Maricopa Community College District student leadership retreat is held
each fall for all student leaders. For more information contact the Center

LeaderShape Institute
The LeaderShape
Institute is a week-long program designed to inspire, develop and
support people committed to lead with integrity.
