Goals
The goals of this program are to:
Give graduates the knowledge and experiences to perform imaging examinations and accompanying responsibilities leading to quality patient care.
Utilize the resources provided by the college to maintain student retention of at least 75%.
Provide the curriculum for the students to attain an AAS degree in Medical Radiography with a graduation rate of at least 75%.
Prepare students to take the ARRT examination with a pass rate of at least 80%.
Prepare students for employment in the medical radiography or related field with a job placement rate of at least 80% of those desiring a job within 6 months following graduation.
Medical radiographers in the community will have access to a variety of continuing education courses offered for career mobility and/or re-entry into the field of medical radiography.
Engage in a process of continuous improvement to assure its program effectiveness.
Promote student and faculty participation in community and professional service.
Maintain a matriculation rate of 150% or less of the stated program length.
