Program Descriptions
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Accounting is for students
seeking to gain skills and knowledge in the field of accounting. Possible
entry-level jobs for this program include accounting clerk, accounts
payable/receivable clerk, claims clerk, credit clerk, full-charge
bookkeeper, accounting intern, or comparable positions.
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting is one of several
options for students seeking to gain skills and knowledge in the field of
accounting. Possible entry-level jobs for this program include accounting
clerk, accounts payable/receivable clerk, claims clerk, credit clerk,
full-charge bookkeeper, accounting intern, or comparable positions.
Transferability
Students who plan to follow a 4 year bachelor’s degree course of study should plan their program consulting the catalog of the college to which they plan to transfer.

Program Description:
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Office Technology
can be completed in one semester. May classes are
offered on a flexible, open entry/open exit schedule.
Training in this area provides students with keyboarding,
language, customer service, and computer skills. A
wide variety of careers exist in the office field.
Office technology position include office assistant,
receptionist, and customer service representative. The
position offers opportunities to learn and advance in the
office environment.

emphasizes training on word processing, spreadsheet,

Internet for business purposes. Completion of this
certificate program which has as a prerequisite completion
of the Office Technology Certificate would quality an
individual for secretarial, administrative assistant, or
executive assistant positions.
