A degree in nursing provides many options, giving you the ability to

Registered Nurses (RNs) are trusted care providers, client advocates and
educators, making a difference in our community and in the world each day.
RNs are educated as a generalists who deliver healthcare to clients and
family groups. Our program includes the competencies related to the art and
science of nursing. Graduates receiving an AAS degree in Nursing are
eligible to apply for licensure as an RN.

Program Delivery Methods
MaricopaNursing at GateWay offers several schedules to meet the needs of
today's student. Classes are offered part-time (evening lectures, Friday and
weekend clinicals), full-time (day courses) or in an accelerated format.
Employment Outlook
In Arizona, RN positions are expected to increase more than
20% in the next 10 years. RNs have reported earning an hourly range of $19.35to
$40.12 for an annual salary range of $40,248 to $83,449.
Transferability
The AAS degree in nursing provides graduates with an educational
foundation for articulation into the University setting.
Equivalent community college general studies courses transfer to
