Sociology
Overview
Students in Sociology study society to understand how social situations
influence our lives and how we, in turn, shape our society.
Our classes examine concepts such as:
- social research
- culture
- gender
- diversity
- social issues
- crime
- social movements
Students learn to develop an awareness of global issues and information
research skills.
University Transfer
The class atmosphere is supportive of many university transfer programs. Classes are small
enough that students are likely to know each other by name, and tuition
starts at just 1/4 the cost of state universities for Maricopa County
residents.
We are also located along the
Light Rail
starter line at the 38th Street and Washington stop.
