Overview
The
Caregiver Training and Development Program works with the Center for Workforce Transition to
assist those who want to begin a fulfilling professional
career helping others. Program training includes:
- Assisted Living Certified Caregiver
- Direct Care Worker to Assistant Living Bridge
- Developmental Disabilities Training
- Principles of Caregiving
Program Highlights
These programs are designed to get students started in an exciting professional career as
quickly and easily as possible. Students will be introduced to caregiving fundamentals
with focused modules on aging and physical disabilities, developmental disabilities and Alzheimer’s
disease and other dementias, training in three levels of care such as supervisory, personal and directed
care. The
Caregiver Training and Development Program can be completed in as little as two weeks.

- Core Training
- First Aid & CPR
- Specialized Training & Continuing Education
- Physical Disabilities
- Elderly Care
- Dementia
- Developmentally Disabled
