International Genocide Awareness Exhibit with artifacts from the Houston Holocaust Museum.
2 p.m. - Lecture by Ruth Callahan, faculty at Glendale Community College on her Holocaust research. Dr. Callahan holds a certificate from the Auschwitz Academy.
6 p.m. - Screening of "Hotel Rwanda"
1 p.m. - Joanne Morales on refugee settlement. Panel discussion led by Don Hall. Panel will be comprised of GateWay Community College faculty, staff, and students.
6 p.m. - Screening of "Burma: A Secret Genocide."
Native American Genocide display in the Library.
Events to be hosted in the Copper Room (IE1302) Park in the west lot north of 38th & Washington streets. Copper Room is across from west lot.
This event is free and open to the community. The exhibit will be open to the community on April 2-3, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Reservations must be made for any other day in order to have a designated tour time.
