After moving from infield to outfield this season, sophomore softball player Samantha Soto is having a breakout year. She is currently leading the team with a .471 batting average and also has a .514 on-base percentage and five stolen bases. Soto was in a serious car accident last fall and has bounced back to become a vital member of the Geckos.
