Disclosure

GateWay Community College discloses, in compliance with federal regulations and program requirements, the following information pertaining to enrollment diversity and graduation rates of each campus.

Washington Campus 

Diversity of Enrollment

In the Fall of 2014, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students in credit programs was 1,365. Of these, 57% were female and 43% were male. Four percent were American Indian/Alaska Native, 4% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 11% were Black, 37% were Hispanic, 32% were White, 2% were Two or More Races, and 2% were Non-Resident Alien.

Diversity of Pell Recipients

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 55% of the full-time enrolled students in Fall 2014. Of these, 59% were female and 41% were male. Sixty-six percent of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.

Retention Rates

Sixty-one percent of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2014 returned in  Fall 2015. The part-time student retention rate was 42%.

Graduation and Transfer Rates

The three-year graduation rate for full-time students entering in Fall 2012 was 14%. The three-year transfer-out rate was 40%.

Diversity of Enrollment
In FY 2015, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students was 562. Of these 43% were female and 57% were male. Seven percent were American Indian/Alaska Native, 2% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 14% were Black, Non-Hispanic, 28% were Hispanic, 35% were White, Non-Hispanic, and 0% were Non-Resident Alien.
Diversity of Pell Recipients
Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 48% of the full-time enrolled students in FY 2015. Of these, 50% were female and 50% were male. Sixty-seven percent of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.
Retention Rates
Sixty-nine percent of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in the Fall 2014 returned in the Fall of 2015 or completed their program.
Graduation and Transfer Rates
The graduation rate for full-time students entering in FY 2012-13 was 22%. The transfer-out rate was 0%.

 

Tuition Schedule  2015-2016

Registration Fee $15 per term of attendance
Tuition $5-$6 per clock hour depending on program (subject to change)
Lab Fees varies, covers the cost of all consumable materials used in each training program and varies by program
Book Fees varies, reflect the cost of the textbooks at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice
Other Fees varies, some programs require students to purchase clothing, special equipment and/or take licensing and certification tests
