When most people think of the Navy aircraft carriers, submarines, vast amounts of water and picturesque views of the coast line come to mind. But US Navy veteran and GateWay student, Jeff Enderle never saw a ship during his time spent in the Navy.

As a tribute to Black History month, the Black Student Union (BSU) on campus adorned the college bookstore window display with various African artifacts.  Most of the items are from the African country of Ghana including a traditional dress, a unity stool and a few masks.

After an exhaustive 3 day campus visit with students, faculty and staff, a 7 member team of community college administrators from across the country says it will recommend the maximum 10 year renewal of accreditation for GateWay Community College.

Prospective and current students are invited to the Spring 2010 ASU Transfer Day. ASU Representatives will be on campus to provide students with useful information on the transfer process.

The Hispanic Student Organization (HSO) is participating in a friendly volleyball tournament against the Chandler Gilbert HSO and is seeking players.
