Register Now for the 12th Annual Cardiac Care Conference

Banner Health and GateWay proudly announce the 12th Annual Cardiac Care Conference taking place Tuesday, May 4, 2010 and held for the first time on the campus of GateWay. The conference aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of the latest advances in interventional, pharmacologic, clinical and administrative strategies for the management of the cardiovascular patient.

The keynote speaker is Laura Robertson, CEO of Banner Heart Hospital. Her address will focus on keeping pace with the pulse of changing cardiac care. Seven additional lectures provided by physicians, pharmacists, nursing directors and advanced practice nurses will present on cardiac topics ranging from advances in coronary and endovascular intervention to ethical concerns in the cardiovascular patient to current trends and treatments for heart failure patients.

This year offers attendees the opportunity to participate in the conference via simultaneous web cast for those who cannot attend in person, while the actual conference is taking place at GateWay Community College.  The conference is open to healthcare professionals, students and the general public. Attendees will be awarded .5 a college credit which is the equivalent to eight contact hours.
