Study Abroad

A comprehensive education cannot be confined within the four walls of a classroom. GateWay students have a wealth of exciting opportunities to take their education beyond our campus through study abroad programs.

Experience Cultures of the World

Tour life-list destinations across Europe with visits to Ireland, England, Italy, France and Scotland. Study in China and Australia while learning about indigenous cultures. Gain a deeper appreciation of the rich history of our nearest neighbor, Mexico. Discuss eco-philosophy and the impact of globalization while canoeing and hiking across Belize and Costa Rica. Gaze upon ancient ruins while learning the Arabic language and culture in Jordan.

Summer in Prague: City of 100 Spires

In the summer of 2009, instructor Susan Mills led GateWay's first program in Prague, Czech Republic, otherwise known as the "City of 100 Spires." Each summer, students participate in a month-long immersion in art history, political ideology, philosophy and travel throughout many historical areas of the city and country.
