Student Testing & Assessment Center - Schedule

  • No children may be left unattended while a student is testing

ACCUPLACER

This computerized testing is un-timed and available on a walk-in basis. Fall and Spring (August - Mid May) hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Summer (Mid May - July) hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CELSA

This test applies to English as a Second Language (ESL) students and is provided on a walk-in basis. Fall and Spring (Aug - Mid May) hours are held Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Summer (Mid May - July) hours are held Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

INSTRUCTOR TESTING

Make-up exams are offered during the Fall and Spring (August - Mid May) on Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Summer (Mid May - July) hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HCC

This is the Health Care Competency test, with credit given by exam.
Admissions & Records must first verify student eligibility and authorization before testing can be scheduled. Next, students will:

  • Pay the appropriate fee at the Cashier's Office
  • Proceed to the Student Assessment Center for testing & scoring

Testing is scheduled on a walk-in basis. Fall and Spring (August - Mid May) hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Summer (Mid May - July) hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HESI PN Exam

This computer-based advanced placement test is timed and applies to block 3 and block 4 students. The cost is $50.00 and tests are offered Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

HESI A2 (Entrance Test)

This is a computer-based nurse entrance test; allow for 4 hours. The cost is $40.00, and testing times are Monday - Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

GED

Cost per section is $30. Payment must be made online at the time of scheduling. Cost to retest is $30 per section.

  • Two forms of identification are required. One must be state issued with a photograph; the second must be original and official (i.e., Social Security or birth card - no photo necessary).
  • Must complete all five sections of the exam by Dec. 16, 2013. 
  • Those 16 - 17 years old must also submit a notarized letter from a parent or legal guardian, giving permission to take the exam and an official withdrawal from the last school attended.

Testing is held on Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The computerized version can taken one section at a time or all sections in one 8-hour day.
