Water and Various Environmental Sciences Association (WAVES)

The Water and Various Environmental Sciences (WAVES) club is an organization dedicated to preparing students for a career working with water and our environment.

Club members will participate in local seminars, community events and take field trips to visit facilities that manage our water resources here in the southwest. These activities will give students the opportunity to learn more about various water technologies as well as have an opportunity to network with other water professionals.

Club Community Activities:

  • World Water Monitoring Day
  • Tres Rios Nature & Earth Festival
  • National Environmental Education Week

Announcements at club meeting will include opportunities for students to sign up for paid or volunteer internships as well as learn about the latest job openings.
