Black Student Union

Fall 2017 BSU Club Meetings held on Thursdays at 1:00 PM in Room MA-1132 in the Center for Student Life and Leadership

The Black Student Union serves to establish an unshakeable bond between black students, black faculty and the general Maricopa community to promote the development of educational opportunities and to increase awareness of black culture. The group provides a central forum for the open dialogue of political, spiritual, cultural, economic, social and academic conditions in the black community.

Who Can Join?

All students from all walks of life are invited to join the BSU to learn more about black culture. The BSU exists to enhance cultural and political awareness, and to provide social events and support for students.
BSU celebrates new members because each person strengthens the group's dedicated effort in building the community and encouraging all to work collectively at continuing student success.
