This workshop will discuss the challenges of eating healthfully in our fast paced culture. It will operationally define healthful eating and present the latest recommendations, helping to tease out trendy diets from solid eating habits.
It will discuss facts and foundational information on making healthy food choices at restaurants, in airports, at holiday functions and social gatherings. Real world strategies will be taught on how to create a routine of healthful eating during the work week and even the workday. Participants will leave having gained knowledge and tools to navigate their lifestyles, while still making choices. Age 16+. Minors permitted with parent or guardian. Both minor and adult must purchase tickets to attend workshop.
