Dr. Tsuhen Michelle Chang earned her BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 2001. She then spent a couple of years developing drug therapy targets for a pharmaceutical company in the Bay Area. She has many different interests and has completed a two-year post-graduate Christian program in California as well as obtained her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 2012. Dr. Chang has been teaching Chemistry at GateWay Community College since 2014 and has been the Science Academic Coordinator since 2018.

- Awarded the Teaching Award as the top teaching assistant in the chemistry department while working on her graduate degree.
- Spent several years synthesizing drug libraries at a pharmaceutical company.
