GateWay Community College discloses, in compliance with federal regulations and program requirements, the following information pertaining to enrollment diversity and graduation rates of each campus.

Washington Campus 

Diversity of Enrollment

In Fall 2019 enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students in credit programs was 1,283. Of these 58% were female and 42% were male. 3% were American Indian/Alaska Native, 4% were Asian/Pacific Islander,12% were Black, 51% were Hispanic, 25% were White, and 3% were Two or More Races.

Diversity of Pell Recipients

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 53% of the full-time enrolled students in Fall 2019. Of these, 61% were female and 39% were male. 80% of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.

Retention Rates

59% of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2018 returned in Fall 2019. The part-time student retention rate was 45%.

Graduation and Transfer Rates

The 3-year graduation rate for full-time students entering in Fall 2016 was 21%. The 3-year transfer-out rate was 34%.

Trade and Technical Training

Diversity of Enrollment
In FY 2019, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students was 514. Of these 66% were female and 34% were male. Two percent were American Indian/Alaska Native, 4% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 5% were Black, Non-Hispanic, 50% were Hispanic, 35% were White, Non-Hispanic, 3% were Two or More Races.

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 32% of the full-time enrolled students in FY 2019. Of these, 66% were female and 34% were male. Seventy-three percent of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.
Retention Rates
Eighty-one percent of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2018 returned in Fall 2019 or completed their program. Eighty-three percent of the first-time, part-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2018 returned in Fall 2019 or completed their program.
Graduation and Transfer Rates
The graduation rate for full-time students entering in FY 2016-17 was 63%. The transfer-out rate was 0%.

Registration Fee $15 per term of attendance
Tuition $5-$6 per clock hour depending on program (subject to change)
Lab Fees varies, covers the cost of all consumable materials used in each training program and varies by program
Book Fees varies, reflect the cost of the textbooks at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice
Other Fees varies, some programs require students to purchase clothing, special equipment and/or take licensing and certification tests
