GateWay Community College discloses, in compliance with federal regulations and program requirements, the following information pertaining to enrollment diversity and graduation rates of each campus.

Washington Campus 

Diversity of Enrollment

In the Fall 2018, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students in credit programs was 1,156. Of these, 56% were female and 44% were male. Three percent were American Indian/Alaska Native, 4% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 11% were Black, 48% were Hispanic, 27% were White, 3% were two or more races, and 1% were non-resident alien.

Diversity of Pell Recipients

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 48% of the full-time enrolled students in Fall 2018. Of these, 61% were female and 39% were male. Eighty percent of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.

Retention Rates

Fifty-seven percent of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2017 returned in Fall 2018. The part-time student retention rate was 44%.

Graduation and Transfer Rates

The three-year graduation rate for full-time students entering in Fall 2015 was 21%. The three-year transfer-out rate was 36%.

Trade and Technical Training

Diversity of Enrollment
In FY 2018, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students was 419. Of these 52% were female and 48% were male. Two percent were American Indian/Alaska Native, 2% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 3% were Black, Non-Hispanic, 19% were Hispanic, 14% were White, Non-Hispanic, 55% were Two or More Races and 5% were Unknown.
Diversity of Pell Recipients
Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 35% of the full-time enrolled students in FY 2018. Of these, 45% were female and 55% were male. Eighty percent of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.
Retention Rates
Seventy-nine percent of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2017 returned in Fall 2018 or completed their program. Sixty-seven percent of part-time undergraduate students who enrolled in the Fall 2017 returned in the Fall of 2018 or completed their program.
Graduation and Transfer Rates
The graduation rate for full-time students entering in FY 2015-16 was 53%. The transfer-out rate was 0%.

Registration Fee $15 per term of attendance
Tuition $5-$6 per clock hour depending on program (subject to change)
Lab Fees varies, covers the cost of all consumable materials used in each training program and varies by program
Book Fees varies, reflect the cost of the textbooks at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice
Other Fees varies, some programs require students to purchase clothing, special equipment and/or take licensing and certification tests
