Community Partnerships

In addition to our collaborations within GateWay, the center welcomes and seeks out collaborations with members of our surrounding community that advance social justice in our community. If you are interested in working with the Center for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, please contact our coordinator, Zach Romo, at zachary.romo@gatewaycc.edu

Tracking Campus Action

While the Center cannot manage every part of campus, we do our best to track DEI efforts and initiatives across campus, and communicate our progress to the GateWay community. Through this ongoing process, we hope to celebrate our achievements, and identify opportunities for our college to improve.

Student DEI Advisory Board

In order to develop a stronger campus culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, we seek critical and constructive insights from our students. The Student DEI Advisory Board consists of students who serve one year terms and participate in bi-monthly meetings to discuss issues relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the student experience, and how the college can address them. More details will be provide on this in the coming months.
