The Applied Technology Field of Interest programs give you the hands-on skills you need to design, develop, or repair high-tech equipment and processes. Students studying in these areas often find work after completing introductory classes and are able to expand their knowledge, skills, and education while earning a livable wage.
We offer programs in automotive repair, HVAC, airline operations, CAD, construction, welding, electronics repair, electrical technologies, and much more. Classes are scheduled to accommodate both full-time and working students and align to industry standards.

With the university transfer option, you can complete most of your general education coursework at the Maricopa Community Colleges and have guaranteed acceptance to one of our over 40 university and college partners to complete your Bachelor degree.
There are other Associate of Applied Science degrees that have been designed to provide seamless transfer into a bachelor program, but acceptance is not guaranteed. For more information, see the Get an Associate Degree option below.

The Associate degrees in this list give you the opportunity for an in-depth study of your chosen field. If you decide to move on to a four-year degree after graduation, you will need to work with an advisor to confirm which classes will transfer, and acceptance is not guaranteed.
A Certificate prepares you for entry-level work in your chosen field and requires fewer classes than the Associate degree or university transfer options. There are several types of certificates available, including career, trade, and academic certificates.
