Important Notice Regarding GateWay Deer Valley

BUILDING DAMAGE CAUSED BY STORM IMPACTS DEER VALLEY LOCATION

On Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1 a.m., GateWay Community College was notified that its Deer Valley location (29th Ave. & Bell Road) experienced flooding and extensive building damage. The facility is home to the college’s Beauty and Wellness and EMT programs. 

No one was in the building at the time of the incident. Damage to equipment, classrooms and technology in the building is expected, but fully unknown. Overall damage will be assessed once college employees are able to safely enter the structure. 

Students attending the Deer Valley location will be notified by their instructors with direction for returning to class and personal property.
