GateWay Community College discloses, in compliance with federal regulations and program requirements, the following information pertaining to enrollment diversity and graduation rates of each campus.

Washington Campus 

Diversity of Enrollment

In Fall 2020 enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students in credit programs was 1,018. Of these 61% were female and 39% were male. 3% were American Indian/Alaska Native, 3% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 11% were Black, 50% were Hispanic, 27% were White, and 4% were Two or More Races.

Diversity of Pell Recipients

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 51% of the full-time enrolled students in Fall 2020. Of these, 65% were female and 35% were male. 79% of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.

Retention Rates

56% of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2019 returned in Fall 2020. The part-time student retention rate was 39%.

Graduation and Transfer Rates

The 3-year graduation rate for full-time students entering in Fall 2019 was 20%. The 3-year transfer-out rate was 36%.

Trade and Technical Training

Diversity of Enrollment
In FY 2020, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students was 476. Of these 62% were female and 38% were male. Two percent were American Indian/Alaska Native, 4% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 6% were Black, Non-Hispanic, 52% were Hispanic, 31% were White, Non-Hispanic, 2% were Two or More Races.
Diversity of Pell Recipients
Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 47% of the full-time enrolled students in FY 2020. Of these, 63% were female and 37% were male. Seventy-four percent of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.
Retention Rates
Seventy-two percent of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2019 returned in Fall 2020 or completed their program. Eighty-three percent of the first-time, part-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2018 returned in Fall 2019 or completed their program.
Graduation and Transfer Rates
The graduation rate for full-time students entering in FY 2017-18 was 85%. The transfer-out rate was 0%.

Registration Fee $15 per term of attendance
Tuition $5-$6 per clock hour depending on program (subject to change)
Lab Fees varies, covers the cost of all consumable materials used in each training program and varies by program
Book Fees varies, reflect the cost of the textbooks at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice
Other Fees varies, some programs require students to purchase clothing, special equipment and/or take licensing and certification tests
