Physical Therapy

Physical therapy helps people of all ages who have medical conditions, illnesses or injuries that limit their regular ability to move and function. Sessions include examination, and physical intervention for mobility, and function. If it is your first visit to the HUG Clinic, please call to schedule an appointment at (602) 286–8511.

On your first visit, the patient will be evaluated by a licensed professional to determine a patient’s individual needs. A medical history, physical evaluation and goal assessment will be conducted to create the patient’s plan of care. Future visits will be led by our students with supervision from a professional. Patients should expect to be provided with home exercises and patient education in functional activities. Manual therapy, exercise prescriptions and modalities will be prescribed as appropriate.
