Do what you love in a creative, high-demand industry helping people look and feel fantastic. Our program can empower you with techniques and theory involving hair care, styling and coloring, applications in wigs, skin care, nail care, makeup application, and hair removal, and prepare you to take the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology licensing exam.

Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.

Explore Beauty and Wellness

As a cosmetologist, you will provide services such as cutting, coloring, styling hair, designing hairstyles, and offering nail and skin services. Proper disinfection and sanitation techniques are emphasized to ensure safety.

Complete the program with an 80% or higher to earn your certificate of competency. Note: This does not guarantee a Cosmetology License in any state.

To practice, you must pass the Arizona State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology exams. Visit their website for details.
