Whether you’re a seasoned writer or trying poetry for the first time, this is your moment to share your voice. Join your peers for an inspiring event filled with passion, rhythm, and self-expression — and maybe even win some exciting prizes!
Rules
- Each participant may submit one original poem.
- Poems should be no longer than 100 lines in total.
- Entries must be unpublished and not have received any prior awards.
- Your poem should explore the theme “Beyond Borders: Voices of Global Learning.”
- Please submit your poem by November 7 at 11:59 p.m. (MST). The winner will be announced by November 14.
- You must be a currently enrolled student at one of the 10 Maricopa Community Colleges during the Fall 2025 semester.
- Faculty are not eligible to compete
