Clubs & Sports at GWECHS

At GateWay Early College High School, students have opportunities to get involved, discover their interests, develop leadership skills, build friendships, and make a difference in their school and community. Our clubs and athletic programs give students meaningful ways to learn beyond the classroom while being part of the GWECHS community.

Whether you are interested in business, creativity, service, photography, athletics, or simply finding a place to connect with others, there is a way to get involved at GWECHS!

Business Club

Students explore the world of business while learning basic business principles, entrepreneurship, teamwork, leadership, and skills that can be applied to future college and career opportunities.

Yearbook Club

Students work together to create the GWECHS yearbook. Members develop skills in photography, design, organization, writing, and storytelling while capturing the people, events, and memories that make each school year special.

Fundraising Club

Students help plan and support fundraising efforts that provide funding for student activities, events, and special opportunities. Members gain experience with teamwork, planning, communication, and organizing successful fundraising activities.

Crafts for Community Service

Students use their creativity to serve others. Club members create handmade crafts and projects that support community organizations, special causes, and individuals with identified needs, turning creativity into meaningful service.

Boys Soccer

Students compete on the pitch while building athletic discipline, strategic teamwork, endurance, and representing GWECHS in interscholastic competition.
