Colleen Doyle Memorial Scholarship
Colleen Doyle had just finished the first year of the Medical Radiology program at GateWay Community College when her life was tragically cut short in a traffic accident on July 3, 2011. Colleen was just 28 years old, married, and the mother of a 20 month old daughter at the time of her death. She was employed as a Health Unit Coordinator at Maricopa Medical Center and was eager to advance in the field of heal care. Colleen knew that going the “extra mile” was well worth the effort and that the investment of her time and energy would be rewarded over the long-term. The Colleen Doyle Memorial Scholarship is intended to benefit students in GWCC’s Medical Radiography program who, like Colleen, have shown that they are willing to go the extra mile and excel in their chosen field.
