Sophomore right-hander Mike Ebersole and freshman left-hander Tyler Clancy were this week’s ACCAC’s co-pitchers of the week, a recognition the conference gives every week to outstanding athletes.
Ebersole picked up a win and two saves on the week, since receiving the recognition last week he has tied the GateWay single season record in saves with 11. Ebersole has a 1.32 ERA (Earned Run Average).
Clancy pitched seven scoreless innings during last Friday’s game against Phoenix College. He struck out five hitters, allowing no runs on six hits. Clancy has a 4.37 ERA.
