Fall 2014 brings new classes to GateWay Community College. For the first time, GateWay will be offering Guitar, Dance and Voice classes.
The Liberal Arts Division of the college surveyed students, and a large number indicated they would be interested in the three new classes.
Students do not need to have prior background knowledge to succeed in the classes.
“With the addition of the classes, they help move GateWay to become a more comprehensive college,” said Kerry Vrabel, Liberal Arts Division chair.
The college will be offering two types of dance -- hip-hop and Latin.
GateWay will have Voice I, students who have already taken Voice I do have an opportunity to take Voice II, but the call will be held with Voice I.
