Before Donna Bellew started her journey at GateWay Community College, she and her husband owned a local sign company. While owning her own business provided some level of satisfaction, Donna knew she was not following her passion.
Proving it is never too late to pursue your dreams, Donna enrolled in the Aesthetician and Massage Therapist programs at GateWay. She successfully completed the two certificate programs in 2016 and is now dual licensed as an Aesthetician and Massage Therapist.
“When I look back at my time at GateWay, I am grateful. Grateful for the support from staff, encouragement from friends/family, and many new friendships that have had a positive impact on my life.” Donna said.
Today, Donna owns a business -- Simplistic Skin & Massage in Glendale and Wickenburg, AZ -- using her acquired skills gained while at GateWay.
“I take pride in knowing that I am helping my clients feel educated, relaxed, beautiful and confident!” Donna said. With her passion now fully aligned with her career, her future continues to look brighter than ever.
