Student Leadership
Governed by students and supported by advisors, GWCC Student Leadership Council (SLC) advocates for student interests and promotes involvement in college-sponsored events, clubs, athletics, and honor societies.
GWCC Student Leadership Council welcomes the entire student body to join in activities it regularly sponsors, including:
- Forums
- Community Services Opportunities
- Fundraising
- Leadership Development
INTERESTED IN MEMBERSHIP?
In addition to serving our community, GWCC SLC members develop leadership skills through training, conferences, and networking. They're also eligible to apply for special scholarship opportunities.
Students become GWCC Student Leadership Council members in two ways. Many have been selected by student clubs and organizations to represent their interests at the weekly meetings. Others join as general members.
Contact the Student Life and Leadership Office or sign up here if you'd like to become involved in student government. A few opportunities include: committee positions, formation of new clubs/organizations, or planning a college activity.
