The Physics program at GateWay Community College builds a strong foundation in the principles that govern matter, energy, motion, and the universe. Students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical skills while exploring topics such as mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and modern physics.

This program is designed for students planning to transfer to a university and complete a bachelor’s degree in physics or a related STEM field. By completing your first two years at GateWay, you can begin your academic journey while saving on tuition before continuing your studies at a four-year institution.
