GateWay Community College Students Featured in New York Times

Several GateWay Community College students and instructors were recently interviewed and featured in an article by the New York Times. The article, Why American Women Everywhere Are Delaying Motherhood, highlighted women in their 20s and the reasons behind the growing trend.

Miguel Brusuelas, an instructor at GateWay Community College, said, “What I see now is students looking beyond, ‘OK, I have to pay this bill next week,’ I see them looking into the future.”

The students were from a variety of the 160+ degrees and certificates that GateWay offers and highlight their career and educational goals; something that GateWay is proud to be a part of.
