Arizona PBS invites the community to attend a Career Resource Fair & Film Screening on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center, located at 1375 E. Broadway Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85040. Sponsored by GateWay Community College, this free event will connect attendees with valuable career advancement resources and offer an exclusive look at upcoming Arizona PBS workforce-related programming.
The event will feature a variety of community partners offering services and support related to job training, employment opportunities, and professional development. Attendees will have the chance to network directly with these partners, gather resources, and explore tools to help advance their careers.
In addition to the resource fair, guests will be treated to screenings of select segments from Arizona PBS’ upcoming programming, including a special episode of “Horizonte” and “Working Forward,” a new five-episode series exploring pressing workforce issues in today’s society. Each episode highlights individuals striving to overcome barriers and discover meaningful solutions. Hosted by Kathleen Bade, the series blends compelling documentary storytelling with insightful conversations from community leaders, filmmakers, and subject matter experts. GateWay students will be featured in an upcoming episode.
