About the Scholarship: The Eliza Olvey Memorial Scholarship is a heartfelt tribute to the memory of Eliza Olvey, a beloved child who left us far too soon. Eliza's life was filled with joy, curiosity, and a radiant smile that could brighten anyone's day.

Honoring Eliza's Memory: Eliza's family, deeply touched by the joy she brought into their lives, seeks to keep her memory alive through this scholarship fund. Eliza's mother is an elementary school teacher, and her grandmother, an occupational therapy assistant specializing in pediatrics, shared the family's heartfelt wish:

"Eliza filled our lives with pure joy! She was smart, happy, and curious about the world around her. Her amazing smile would brighten anyone's day! Unfortunately, we lost our sweet granddaughter far too soon due to an unexpected illness. One way we can honor her life is to help enrich the lives of others. I have been blessed to have a career as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant. Our family is offering this scholarship opportunity for an OTA student, which will be applied to their pediatric class tuition. Through your education, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the life of a child. On your career journey, we hope that you will think of our sweet granddaughter Eliza and use your skills and talents to help others."
