Yes! GateWay offers certificate programs in cosmetology, hair stylist, aethetician, nail technician, and massage therapy!
Prior learning credit can only be awarded to students who have a valid (non-temporary) cosmetology, hairstylist or aesthetician license. GateWay cannot award partial credit for programs that have not been completed. Students may begin taking courses at GateWay prior to receiving a license but credit cannot be awarded and the degree will not be conferred until the student has provided proof of licensure.

The college uses Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) to award up to 31 credits at no cost toward your Beauty and Wellness AAS degree. GateWay currently awards PLA credit for cosmetologist, hairstylist, and aesthetician licenses.
No. As long as you have an active (non-temporary) cosmetology, hairstylist or aesthetician license in good standing, it does not matter when you obtained it.
The AAS in B&W is a credit hour program. Tuition is calculated by the number of credits earned. Students pay tuition and fees per semester credit hour according to their Residency Classification. Persons must be domiciled in Arizona for one year (12 full months) and be domiciled in Maricopa County for at least 50 days to qualify as a Maricopa County resident. See current tuition cost here. The full cost depends on how many credits you receive for your license (between 12 & 31) 12 Credits for Aesthetician License/Aesthetician Instructon 19 Credits for Hairstylist License/Instructor Hairstylist License 31 Credits for Cosmetology License/Instructor Cosmetology License The AAS is a 60 credit minimum program. Some students may take additional credits as prerequisites for required courses.
