Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.
Year Up Arizona is an intensive, one-year program that empowers young adults to complete degrees, gain hands-on professional skills development, and internships at some of America’s top companies. As you work toward completing your degree at the Maricopa Community Colleges, we support you in launching a career in Financial Services, IT Help Desk or Network Maintenance.
90% of our graduates are employed and/or attending college full-time within four months of graduation and earn an average of $38,000.
Am I Eligible?
You can apply to be a Year Up student if you are:
• 18-29 years old

• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, DACA or have an employment authorization card
• Enrolled or interested in enrolling full-time at Maricopa Community Colleges

What Does It Cost?*
There is no cost to participate in the Year Up PTC program. The only investment we require is your time and commitment to success. In fact, Year Up students receive a stipend throughout the life of the program, based on meeting expectations.
Because we believe that everyone has the potential to succeed, that’s our investment in you.
*As a full-time Maricopa Community Colleges student, you are expected to cover the cost of your college tuition through a combination of grants and scholarships; Year Up and Maricopa Community Colleges will support you with making connections to resources.
When Do Classes Start?
