GMO's, CRISPR, and Gene Editing - State of the Art and State of the Mind

There are a lot of new and precise gene editing techniques that have become standard practices in molecular biology. As with any new technology that may potentially alter what is considered "naturally occurring," there is a lack of clarity on its human impact. This lecture will discuss how gene editing works, what its potential is, and what springs to mind when a layperson considers the topic.
