Mark Richard Memorial Scholarship
Shortly after moving his family from Wenona, Illinois to the Valley in 1989, Mark Richard RT, R.T.(N), CNMT was hired by GateWay Community College as the first Nuclear Medicine Technology Program Director to develop and lead the program. It was a great success from the very beginning under his leadership.
It was a great loss to the Nuclear Medicine community when Mr. Richard lost his battle with cancer in 2001. The Mark Richard Memorial Scholarship was initiated in his memory and in honor of his great love for this profession.
