Maricopa Skill Center to launch new Massage Therapy program at the Northwest Campus

Maricopa Skill Center (MSC) is pleased to announce the MSC Northwest Campus will start offering a Massage Therapy program this summer.

The new program will train students to work as a massage therapist and will follow State Board guidelines. Students receive a certificate of completion for MSC and will be eligible to take the State Board exam for licensing.

Registration is currently taking place. Twenty students will be accepted into each cohort. Cohorts will start on a quarterly basis for the program is a 787-clock hour program that will take approximately six months to complete. The total cost for Massage Therapy is $5,799, excluding book fees.

During the duration of the course students will work hands on with fellow classmates and also in a clinic setting on campus.

Students learn anatomy, theories and techniques during the program. Also, learn about different types of bodywork, such as Asian modalities, Cranial Sacral Therapy and reflexology.

The Northwest Campus also offers an Aesthetician program (Skin Care Specialist), which is a nice complement certificate for someone interested in Massage Therapy.
