Did you forget to support GateWay's high school students by giving to the school's extracurricular program? Well you still have time.
When you make a donation to Gateway Early College High School’s extra-curricular tax credit program, the state will pay you back dollar for dollar up to $200 for an individual or $400 for a couple when you file your taxes!
Plus you still have time to give. In 2015, the State Legislature approved extending the deadline to give, from Dec. 31, 2015 to April 15, 2016.
If you owe state taxes for 2015, the amount you donate will be deducted from what you owe. If you are to receive a refund, then you will receive your donation back dollar for dollar in your Arizona State Tax Refund.
Your tax credit donation will make a huge difference in the lives of our students, many of whom are living at or below the federal poverty level.
This past year your donations have added rich experiences to our student’s lives. Operas, plays, science events, visits to universities, soccer and basketball, running club, book club, and college entrance exam club are just a few of the experiences that you have provided with your generous contributions. You encourage our students to stay in school and have helped GateWay Early College High School, an A-rated school, achieve a 0% drop-out rate!!
