GateWay Honors student, Rebeka Moreno, was named to the All Arizona Academic Team. As a member of this elite team, Rebeka received a full-ride scholarship to any of Arizona’s three state universities. Rebeka was involved in various college clubs, was on the Student Activity Management Council, a Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society member, has studied abroad in Prague, is a dance instructor, and worked in the Learning Center while going to school. Last week at our annual Honors and Awards Banquet, Rebeka garnered a large number of the awards, which recognized student leadership, accomplishments and scholarship recipients. Now that she is finished with her Associate in Arts degree with an emphasis in Psychology, she plans to head to ASU to pursue her passion for dance and performing arts.
