MCCCD Scholarship

The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is furthering its students’ access to affordable education, offering scholarships to students who intend to take any of the student success courses, CPD/AAA115, CPD/AAA150, CPD150AC, CPD101, and CPD104, in the Fall 2021 semester. The scholarship covers the full in-state tuition amount of $85 per credit hour for 1-3 credit hours, up to a maximum of $255. The scholarship funding is only applicable for the above listed student success courses. If the class is dropped, the student will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.

The pandemic has impacted students attending college in a variety of ways. These student success courses assist students in adjusting to college academic requirements while enhancing their sense of belonging. These courses have proven to enhance retention and completion. In a time when students need support the most, the Maricopa Community Colleges are committed to providing students and the larger community, every opportunity to be successful.

The scholarship will be automatically applied to students’ accounts by September 30, 2021. Should this course’s tuition be paid for already, a credit will be applied back to the student’s account. Eligible students will be refunded according to the current college guidelines*.
